I keep meaning to update, but things have been slightly crazy around here lately.
We are nearing the end of our bowling season! Which means we have a lot of stuff to get done with the hubby and myself being secretaries for the league. Well, technically he's the official secretary, but unofficially we are co-secretaries because I take care of all the awards and boring paperwork part of the job. He gets the fun job of handling all the money, ha ha. We are taking the summer off, although we may still be secretary because our league does have a summer season. I will be spending a good part of those days practicing because I have decided to completely change everything about how I bowl. Which means I have to get some work done on my bowling ball as well.
My Great Aunt passed away last month. It was very sad and very hard for me. I was very close with her growing up and her passing was very unexpected, especially since my parents and I had visited her the night before.
My Uncle has been very sick again, fluid in his lungs and an infection some where, they can never seem to pinpoint where.
My friend's sister passed away last month after battling Melanoma skin cancer for 17 months, she was only 27 years old. It was very sad and so tragic. Her family has started a campaign for people to go get checked!! The whole time she was sick she kept saying that all she wanted was for everyone to go get checked. So please, take a minute to call and make an appointment and get checked. . . and wear sunscreen every day!! Make it part of your morning routine!
Uummm. . . I'm on a serious job hunt right now, no luck yet, keeping my fingers crossed and praying that something will come up soon.
I think that's about all I have for you for now. I had some pictures, but I didn't get them downloaded onto the computer yet, so I'll try to do that next week. Right now I'm off to get bowling stuff done that I have to have turned in my Monday, and it's going to be a lot of crunching numbers and tedious work to make sure I don't goof it up! Wish me luck :) Oh, and watching the Masters from Augusta, GA on tv. . . my hubby got me started on golf, which reminds me, I need to start getting back out to the range because I really do stink at golf, ha ha.
Hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend!
